Introducing Idot Louis

Hello, My name is Idot (pronounced E-dot) Louis. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but I spent most of my life living in Columbia, South Carolina. I have just finished my 1st year in the Masters in Education Technology program at the University of South Carolina. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina as well earning a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I just finished the school year as a 4th grade Math and Science teacher at Caughman Road Elementary School in Richland School District One. I am proud to say that I recently wrapped up my 7th year as a teacher, where each year has taught me something different. Once I obtain my Masters I would like to use what I have learned to train other teachers in how to effectively use technology in the class room. I eventually want go back to school to obtain my Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.
In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to music, playing video games, and running. These activities help me grow and stay relaxed simultaneously, yet, I am always looking to try new things. My next venture includes bike riding. When I finish my educational goals, I plan to not only train other educators on how to effectively use technology to enhance their curriculum, but to venture out to other educational institutions to establish more efficient learning communities.
